• <br />The berm is suggested to screen the project. The berm also happens to be positioned <br />in an emerging bio- diverse prairie area. I would rater suggest a reestablished <br />woodland /prairie restoration site for this area. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Recommend that the protection measures suggested is further investigated. <br />Remove berm and replace with restoration site. Locate areas that are supporting <br />emerging prairies. If possible set up zone protection areas for these areas. Further <br />definition of drainage on the North needs to be determined. Replant disturbed areas <br />with Native plant mix. <br />2. Refer back to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option 1, and any other recommendations from the Environmental Board. <br />
