Memorandum <br />To: Lino Lakes Environmental Board <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: 05/23/00 <br />Re: Restoration Information <br />Please find attached an article from The Joumal of Restoration Ecology on <br />"Defining the Limits of Restoration: The Need for Realistic Goals ". The article <br />describes different ways that individuals might look at restoration projects. I <br />think we should all understand there are different types of restoration goals that <br />individuals might be looking at with any one project. <br />Table 1 lists the levels of goals with the advantages and disadvantages for <br />each category. I think we should be defining the level of restoration goals as <br />we discuss each project. <br />
