The applicant shall submit a Landscape /Screening Plan for review by the City in <br />conjunction with all other plans required for the site plan review application. <br />2. Upon submittal, the City will review the Landscape /Screening Plan to determine <br />compliance with the regulations and standards herein. The City will also use its <br />Handbook for Environmental Planning and Conservation Development or other list <br />provided by the City to determine the compatibility of proposed new landscaping <br />with the ecological prototype of the property. <br />3. For any project that requires a Landscape /Screening Plan, the City will make a <br />deterrnination that the plan meets the requirements herein prior to City Council <br />approval of the project. <br />C. Relationship to Other Ordinances: The requirements of this Section are separate <br />from the City's Street Tree Ordinance and Aboriculture Specifications and Standards <br />of Practice. Replacement tree plantings as required per Section (Tree <br />Preservation ordinance), can be used to satisfy, in part, the landscaping requirements <br />defined herein. Where both a Tree Preservation Plan and a Landscape /Screening Plan <br />are required, preparation of the plans shall be closely coordinated. <br />• IV. LANDSCAPE /SCREENING PLAN SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />• <br />A. Plan submittal requirements: For all applications outlined in Section M.A. plans <br />relative to landscaping, screening, and restoration shall be submitted. All plans shall <br />be signed by a registered landscape architect or certified nurscyman and be based on <br />an accurate, to -scale drawing of the property boundaries. If deemed necessary, the <br />City may require the applicant to submit a certificate of survey to verify the property <br />boundaries. The City may also use its discretion to waive submittal of some of this <br />information, or to require additional information, if appropriate to the specific <br />situation. The Landscape /Screening plan shall include: <br />1. The name(s), telephone number(s), and address(s) of applicants, property owners, <br />developers and/or builders <br />2. Delineation of all existing or proposed buildings, structures, utility easements, rights - <br />of -way, sidewalks and trails, impervious surfaces, and water bodies. <br />3. Delineation of all areas to be graded and limits of land disturbance, including a <br />detailed description of the methods to control soil erosion during and after <br />construction. <br />4. Estimated location and type of all structures, utilities, and existing vegetation on <br />adjacent properties within 100 feet of subject property. <br />5. Size, species, and location of all existing vegetation on property indicating plants to <br />remain and those to be removed. Plan should specify protection measures to be used. <br />6. Sipe, species, and location of all new vegetation to be planted on the property, <br />including the square feet of areas to be sodded or seeded. <br />4 <br />
