• <br />• <br />• <br />the professional competence and <br />technical wear - with -all to accomplish <br />the tasks at hand and deal with project <br />challenges. <br />Success toward realizing the community vision of preserving the natural <br />character of the city through a conservation development approach to <br />planning requires a steadfast commitment to that vision and the tenacity and <br />teamwork to make it happen. As figure 7.1 illustrates, there are three <br />overarching factors associated with successful conservation developments. <br />The Apollo Business District consists of two sections. The section to the north was designed <br />with sodded frontages. For the most part the landscaping was completed prior to the <br />completion of our management plan. The Business District needs a uniform and consistent <br />landscape theme. <br />In light of the questions raised about the visual landscape expectations in our commercial <br />areas, the landscape ordinance is on hold until we have a discussion of the process and <br />product of commercial landscape design. <br />• Page 9 <br />
