Lino Lakes
Environmental
Memo
To: Lino Lakes Environmental Board
From: Marty Asleson
Date: 10/20/00
Re: Highland Meadows West/Second Addition
The Environmental Board reviewed subdivision proposals for Highland Meadows and
Bluebill Ponds in September of 1999. The Area to the north of Highland Meadows
was reviewed as future expansion. At this time, the developer has submitted a plan
to develop the second addition of Highland Meadows West. The area includes a
proposal to build two lots around three existing lots, and road expansion to access
these lots.
According to our inventory, there are no significant vegetation types in this area.
Surface water issues have not been addressed with the watershed yet. I have some
concems of the green way issues in the area that I would like to address at the
meeting.
I have attached The Environmental Board's issues reports and recommendations
made at the September Board meeting of 1999 concerning the development issues
in this area.
MEMORANDUM
TO: Linda Waite Smith, City Administrator
Brian Wessel, Director of Community Development
Rick DeGardner, Director of Public Services
Marty Asleson, Environmental Coordinator
Jeff Smyser, City Planner
John Powell, City Engineer
Mary Kay Wyland, Planning Coordinator
FROM: Carri Villella, Building/Community Development Department Secretary
• Page 1
