• <br />• <br />ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 19, 2001 <br />Kukonen indicated the concerns needed a recommendation. He inquired about the <br />possibility of purchasing the property. <br />Grundhofer asked if anything could be passed on if only three members were voting. <br />Grochala stated the Board needed to recommend approval or not recommend <br />approval. He noted there were many legal issues and while Staff recommendations <br />would enhance the plan, recommendations from the Board should be included. <br />Councilmember Donna Carlson noted to abstain from a vote would be counted as a <br />no vote. <br />Asleson urged the Board to add qualifying statements to the reco si endation. <br />Kukonen submitted that residents might be interested in a tr i stem, a`° d could seek <br />funding. Trehus added that residents could band togethe o assn o rchase the <br />site. Mr. Vaughan answered that the homeowner due re hie . ugh so there <br />would be no support for it. <br />Kukonen asked for a motion. <br />Grundhofer made a motion not to reco end °; : oval as it is now. Staff should be involved with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and the developers in dealing with future stormwater management issues. <br />O'Connell seconded the motion.
