The updated plan had <br />a 66 -foot wide street and an 8 -foot wide trail. <br />• <br />Grundhofer had questions concerning the plans for the other part of Carl Street. <br />Mr. Johnson stated that the first 1/4 mile would be a 24 -foot road from 4th to <br />Sunset Avenue. The Comprehensive Plan made Carl Street a minor collector road <br />and would need to widen it to 34 feet. They believed the collector road would <br />make more sense by the power lines. <br />Donlin stated she was against additional roads. Mr. Johnson answered that road <br />funding required that road be at least 32 feet wide, with water being directed into <br />swales. <br />Asleson added that the water needed to be lit ± through in a sand base. <br />Mr. Johnson indicated that 11.8 acres we m e nori'fr h were not in <br />the park dedication. <br />O'Dea inquired about the possibility of <br />development.
