Agenda Item 5A <br />Environmental Board Meeting Date: June 25, 2003 <br />Topic: Surface Water Management Plan Recommendation <br />Background: Mr. Jim Jacques from TKDA has been working on the new <br />Surface Water Management Plan. Mr. Jacques handed out Section 5 of this <br />Draft Document at last meeting. Section 5 addresses Goals, Policies, and Action <br />Items. Please review this document before the June meeting and prepare to <br />comment. We would like to take your comments, and move forward with a <br />recommendation to the City Council. <br />Analysis: <br />There has been a good deal of time spent on the language in the proposed <br />Document. We are trying to have the Draft Surface Water Management Plan <br />approved for Distribution to Rice Creek, VALWMO, and Met Council for review. <br />We need an Environmental Board recommendation to forward to the City <br />Council. <br />Environmental Board Comments: <br />Options: <br />1. Recommendation Approval with comments and changes. <br />2. Recommend other action. <br />Recommendation: <br />Option 1. <br />
