• Agenda Item 5B <br />Environmental Board Meeting Date: June 25, 2003 <br />Topic: Bruggeman Properties, Rezone, Preliminary Plat, Site Plan Review and <br />CUP. <br />Background: <br />I have included the past Environmental Board history of this site. The history is <br />highlighted below. Although the new submittal has some different proposed land <br />use applications, the environmental concerns remains the same. <br />The new application is a proposal to allow the development of a neighborhood <br />commercial site, and 152 town home units. Application packet information is <br />submitted as (attachment 2) <br />This proposal presents town home development with a commons area. The <br />commons area includes a private park and infiltration areas. <br />The landscape plan depicts much of the area planted to prairie. The note section <br />of this plan indicates a planting of Little blue stem. <br />Surface water direction is now proposed to be directed north of Birch Street and <br />than immediately across Hodgson Road.
