Lighting requirements are in non- conformance with City standards. VFW is in the <br />limits for % pervious /impervious. <br />Required parking stalls 69. Actual parking stalls is indicated as 89. This is down <br />10 from the August sketch plan. Planting islands have been provided in the new <br />plan. It appears the developer has rounded up the figures for parking. <br />The VFW is proposing a combination of sod and seed for ground cover. All sod <br />areas appear to be indicated as irrigated. There are no seed specifications <br />included. City native -seed specifications should be used for surface water <br />treatment areas. Several shade trees have been added to the site plan, <br />including the use of disease resistant elms. The site plan does not seem to show <br />the total number of trees indicated on their plant list. <br />There is no information from Rice Creek Watershed concerning surface water. <br />Our City engineer has indicated that the proposed ponds on the County right-of- <br />way will not be acceptable. <br />Options: <br />1.
