Analysis: <br />Because of the nature of grading and room on the East wet area, little can be <br />done in terms of buffer (although the wetland is still protected). It is my <br />understanding that the lot may separate this wetland by some sort of retaining <br />wall. The developer is proposing to place permanent restrictions on a 35 -foot <br />buffer on the northern wetland area that includes much of the aspen bordering <br />the wetland. Please see Attachment 1 (Rick Carlson concerning Buffer), and <br />Attachment 2 (Mattke Surveying and Engineering, concerning wetland <br />delineation /mitigation). It appears that the small amount of wetland proposed for <br />fill would meet the deminimus requirements and allowed under a national permit. <br />Options: <br />1. Recommend approval with proposed restrictive covenants, and one tree per <br />frontage planted, and other discussed recommendations of the Environmental <br />Board. <br />2.
