Staff has talked to developers about what can <br />be done in this area. <br />Community Development Director Grochala pointed out the 240 -acre area and stated it is <br />intended to be single housing residential and is located within the Stage 1 Growth Area. <br />Staff is focusing on a conservation development. He indicated this is a very unique <br />opportunity for the community. The plan is to take what nature has given the City, reach <br />public values and achieve an economically viable project. <br />Development Design and Parameters, Jeff Schoenbauer - Mr. Schoenbauer came <br />forward and stated it is very important for everyone to work as a collaborative team on <br />this project. He stressed the process of this type of development involves a lot of give <br />and take to maintain the public values and also make it economical. <br />Mr. Jason Husveth, Ecologist, CCES Inc., came forward and stated he has been working <br />with the City and DNR for the past several years.
