Soils
According to the Ground water model, the soils in this area are classified as
moderately susceptible to ground water pollution. Although the proposed
constructed ponds will not be accepting stormwater from impervious areas at this
time, future platting may direct water to these ponds. When that happens,
additional water treatment bmp's must be implemented to filter water to these
ponds.
Surface Water
Surface water from this site goes into CD25, approximately 7000 -foot tributary to
Wards Lake.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
A comprehensive Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan has been submitted for
this project (Attachments 4, 5, 6). Additional information must be submitted
concerning the name and phone number of the SWPPP site manager, and where
the SWPPP and inspection forms will be located on site. A mailbox is preferred.
Although the proposed ponds that will be created appear to be in ordinary high
groundwater, there is no proposed impervious runoff from the site at this time.
However, when platting is done on the site where surface water from impervious
areas can run into the pond, than additional pond/filtration structures will be
needed, or the ponds that are dug modified to accept storm water runoff from the
impervious areas.
Item 16, under the General Erosion Control Notes of the Erosion and Sediment
Control Notes and Details sheet of the plan submittal (Attachment 3), # 16 should
read Disturbed portions of the site where construction activity has stopped shall
be temporarily covered and seeded. Under the same #, "Flatter than 10:1"
should say 14 days per RCWD requirements.
Ponds should be final grade stabilized with the City native seed mix
Tree Preservation
There are no tree preservation plans needed at this time.
Landscape Plan
All final grades should be seeded with the City native Seed mix.
•
•
•
