The trainings review the same material and you can attend whichever
works best for you. Please email me, srich @fmr.org, to let me know
which one works for you so that we can make sure we have enough
materials (and snacks) for that session. (If you want to, you may
attend both sessions.)
We were able to work around the schedules and preferences submitted by
SHEP participants, however we weren't able to shorten the Wednesday
training or split it into two weekday evenings. So for those of you
will be out of town on the 20th, we apologize that you may need to ask
to get off work early for the October 10th training. If you think you
may have difficulty doing this, or difficulty making the lab trainings
at all, please let your team leader know this Saturday.
* CELL PHONE REQUEST
Even if you have already given me your cell phone number, it'd be great
if you could send it again and also clarify whether it is your main
number or your use - only -if- urgent number. Also let me know if you are
uncomfortable with having your cell phone number on the team member
contact lists for any reason.
* PARTY!
Don't forget to mark Thursday, January 17, evening, 2008 in your
calendar (or calendar- to -be). All of your hard work will culminate in a
report to the Rice Creek Watershed District, based upon your findings,
by January 1, 2008. I know it seems like a long time to set a date, but
we'd like to make sure as many of you can make it as possible so that
we can recognize and celebrate the good work you've done! So please let
this be one of
the first dates you enter for '08 in your calendar or planner.
Last year, SHEP produced terrific, reliable results and many people had
a lot of fun doing it. I'm sure this year will be much the same -- if
not better the second time around.
Thanks again for generously offering your time and talents to this
program.
Sincerely,
sue
sue rich
Volunteer Coordinator
Directions to the Wargo Nature Center
From Minneapolis:
[Please note that I -35 is closed from the I -94/35 intersect through
Stinson Blvd in northeast Minneapolis due to the bridge tragedy.] Take
I -35W north to exit #36, County Road 23.
