Clearwater Creek 3rd Addn. <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Rezone to PDO <br />PDO Development Plan <br />March 22, 1999 <br />page 10 <br />Vice -chair Johnson voted against approval because he believes this development should <br />include a variety of housing to help meet the life -cycle housing needs of the community. <br />Mr. Trehus opposed the Plan amendment because of the need for MUSA, and opposed <br />the development plan because he wants more open space and tree preservation. The vote <br />was as follows: <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment including MUSA 3 - 2 approve <br />Rezone to PDO from R and R -X 4 - 1 approve <br />PDO development plan, with conditions 3 - 2 approve <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approval of the land use and MUSA amendment of the existing Comprehensive Plan <br />for the southeast 40 acres of the site. The MUSA allocation would become effective <br />only at the time of final plat approval. If the new Comprehensive Plan is adopted, <br />this amendment will be rendered unnecessary. <br />2. Approval of the rezoning to Planned Development Overlay for single family <br />residential use based on the findings in this report. <br />3. Approval of the Preliminary Development Plan for the PDO with the conditions listed <br />in this report. <br />4. Denial of land use and MUSA amendments to the existing Comprehensive Plan. <br />5. Denial of rezoning to PDO. Without the rezoning, the development plan cannot be <br />approved. <br />6. Return to staff for further review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Options 1, 2, 3, <br />
