Setbacks for Freestanding Signs <br />The entire sign shall meet the following setbacks: <br />Street right of way: 5 feet <br />Side or rear lot line: 20 feet <br />4. Illumination <br />Illumination of freestanding signs is permitted as long as lighting <br />does not create a hazard by impairing the vision of motorists. <br />There shall be a minimum of 100 feet between the edge of any <br />illuminated sign and the boundary of an adjoining residential <br />district. <br />c. Building Signs <br />1. Number: Signs may be placed on a maximum of three sides of the <br />building, and each sign shall be oriented toward its respective lot <br />line. <br />2. Area: <br />a. Signs shall not cover more than 10% of the total wall face, <br />including windows. <br />b. The linear measurement of a sign shall not exceed 80% of <br />the linear measurement of the building wall. <br />c. There is no limit on the number of wall signs as long as <br />maximum areas on the building and on the site are not <br />exceeded. <br />
