Council Member <br />Amendment to Zoning Ordinance <br />Adding Clubs as CUP in GB District <br />April 26, 1999 <br />page 2 <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 99= <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR <br />PRIVATE CLUBS AND LODGES AS CONDITIONAL USES IN THE GENERAL <br />BUSINESS AND CENTRAL BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICTS <br />WHEREAS, private clubs and lodges such as veterans' organizations provide an <br />important service to members and to the community, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes values these organizations, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes ordains that the Zoning Ordinance shall be amended as follows: <br />to facilitate review of draft: new text appears as underlined <br />SECTION 7 <br />Subd. 3 <br />BUSINESS DISTRICTS <br />GB, General Business District <br />H. Conditional Uses. Subject to applicable provisions of the Ordinance, the <br />following are conditional uses in the GB District: These uses require a <br />conditional use permit based upon the criteria and procedures outlined in Section <br />2, Subd. 2. of this Ordinance. <br />H.1 through 1.12 remain unchanged <br />13. Private lodges and clubs provided that: <br />a. Adequate screening from abutting and adjoining residential uses <br />and landscaping is provided. <br />
