ATTACHMENT C <br />page 2 of 2 <br />8. City will perform 20± soil probes to determine seed viability, locations determined by <br />City Forester. <br />Developer will pay for staff time. <br />9. City will conduct lab tests of soil samples. Developer will pay for lab tests. <br />10. City staff/consultant determine test sites for re- generation by existing seed bed. <br />11. City staff/consultant determine test sites for re- seeding and types of seed. <br />12. Developer will pay for seed and consultant fees for test sites. <br />13. Developer will install monuments /signs identifying no -mow areas in open space <br />type of signs and spacing to be determined by City staff and Developer. <br />14. Developer will notify buyers of lots of the existence of the public open space, that the <br />open space is City property, and that activities by private landowners and residents <br />that are prohibited include, but are not limited to: no mowing, no dumping of <br />clippings or other debris, no vegetation clearing, no plantings, no excavation, no fill, <br />no structures, etc. <br />15. City will prepare and assemble educational material for homeowners regarding open <br />space, wetland, and other issues. Developer will pay printing costs to supply material <br />for every lot. <br />16. City staff will determine specific trail alignment. <br />17. On an ongoing basis, City will be responsible for: <br />• monitoring test sites <br />• monitoring vegetation, determining what to clear <br />• determining mowing need, schedule <br />• monitoring for encroachments into open space (e.g., lawns, private activity) <br />• determining future management and restoration practices <br />
