CITY OF LINO LAKES
SAFETY POLICY
INTRODUCTION
The City of Lino Lakes recognizes its responsibility in providing the safest conditions for our
employees by ensuring all reasonable safeguards in the working environment. No job is so
important, and no order is so urgent that we cannot take the time to perform our work safely.
Employees are responsible for observing all safety rules and for using all available safety
devices, and are responsible for reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment to their supervisor.
The efficiency of any municipal operation can be measured directly by its ability to control
unnecessary loss. Accidents resulting in personal injury and/or damage to property and
equipment represent needless waste. The joint cooperation of employees and management in
observing this policy will provide the safest working conditions that are reasonably possible.
1
