City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />June 7, 1999 <br />The June 7, 1999 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was called <br />to order at 6:30pm, by Chair George Lindy. <br />Roll call was taken, members present were George Lindy, Pat <br />Huelman, Jeff Reinert, Joe Boyle, and Paul Montain. Members <br />absent were Pam Taschuk and Chris Wesland. <br />Also present were Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director and <br />Sandie Wood, Office Manager. <br />APPROVAL OF May 3, 1999 MINUTES: <br />Jeff Reinert made a motion, seconded by Paul Montain, to approve <br />the May 3, 1999 minutes. The minutes were approved. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA: <br />The Agenda was passed as presented. <br />OPEN MIKE: <br />Rick entered into the record a letter from Byron J. and Wendy M. <br />Roland, 1554 LaMotte Circle. The letter requested that <br />playground equipment be purchased and installed in LaMotte Park <br />as soon as possible. <br />Enclosed with the letter was a petition signed by many neighbors <br />supporting the request for playground equipment. <br />Chair Lindy stated the issue should be put on the next Park Board <br />meeting agenda. Chair Lindy requested Rick provide information <br />on any funding that is available to the next meeting. <br />DISCUSSION OF BEHM'S CENTURY FARM PARK: <br />Rick stated the revised plan for Behm's Century Farm Park has <br />been submitted with the proposed residential lots along Mustang <br />Lane reduced to four. The developer has discussed the concerns <br />of the two existing residences and they have indicated support <br />for the revised concept plan. <br />There was also concern about homeowners located on Pony Court <br />that requested a trail access to the park. This has also been <br />accomplished. The two homes on the east side of Mustang Lane are <br />currently up for sale. A full disclosure of this proposed plan <br />will ensure than any potential homeowners are aware of the <br />situation. <br />The developer has indicated he will commit to the development of <br />the park that was discussed at the May Park Board meeting. Rick <br />stated that he and Jeff Schoenbauer are in agreement that the <br />1 <br />
