AGENDA ITEM 41 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />DATE: July 19, 1999 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No 99 54, Accept Bids and Award Construction <br />Contract 1999 Wearing Course and Trail Paving Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On June 14, 1999, the City Council approved plans and specifications for the <br />placement of asphalt wearing course on various streets and trails in the City. <br />Pursuant to an advertisement for bids the City will open bids at 10:00 a.m. on <br />Monday, July 26, 1999. These bids will be tabulated and a recommendation <br />regarding award will be presented at the City Council meeting that same <br />evening. <br />
