ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT
MEMORANDUM
DATE: 2/9/98
TO: Mayor and City Council
FROM: Brian Wessel
CC: Dave Pecchia
RE:
EDAAB Appointments
The Economic Development Authority Advisory Board has three open seats. The two -
year terms for Glenn Rehbein and Roger Jensen have expired, and Dean Tollefson of
Firstar Bank has resigned. In addition, the city council annually appoints a liaison to the
board.
EDAAB recommends that Mr. Rehbein and Mr. Jensen be reappointed to the board, and
that John Bergeson continue as council liaison to provide continuity in the city's
successful economic development effort. Roger Jensen continues to participate on both
the Comprehensive Planning Task Force and Town Center Group.
EDAAB also recommends that Bill Johnson remain as P &Z liaison to the board, and that
John Milbauer, president of Lino Lakes Banc Shares, Inc., fill the vacancy left by Mr.
Tollefson.
If you have any questions regarding the above recommendations, please call me.
1189 MAIN STREET, LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA 55014 (612) 464 -5562
