It was unclear where truck loading docks would be located and how the trucks would
access the stores. As the site plan is finalized, it will be important to address this issue.
10. The drive -thru location of the fast food restaurant is situated so that the drive -thru traffic
would back up into the main entrance of the site.
11. It was mentioned that a future bridge between this development and a development in the
southeast quadrant of I -35W and Lake Drive may happen some day. This future
connection should be accounted for in the site plan layout. The current configuration
shows the road curving around in the southeast portion of the site. It may be better to
construct a right angle so that a future road to the south can be connected easily.
These are the main traffic and circulation issues that I noticed. We can discuss these issues further
at out Monday meeting. If you have any questions or comments; please give me a call.
Sincerely,
44zi
Pamela Maki, P.E.
Transportation Engineer
c: Glen Van Wormer - SEH
Dave Ahrens - Lino Lakes
c.vcross L om•ts.wpn
