J'JL -02 -1998 15:24 <br />NAC 612 595 9837 P.06/15 <br />tower, but due to unresolvable technical requirements, we were unable to use the water tower. <br />We are submitting existing site surveys, an aerial photograph of the site and a site plot plan <br />showing the location of the proposed tower at the Correctional Facility. <br />The actual building used will not be determined until we complete a competitive bid process and <br />award final construction bids. As built construction plans will be provided when we apply for <br />building permits. <br />A preliminary tower drawing is also attached with this request. The proposed tower will be a <br />three legged lattice radio tower that is gray in color. Obstruction lighting will be required due to <br />the overall height and proximity to the Surfside Seaplane Base located on Rice Lake. FAA <br />clearance authorization has been applied for and approved. The tower will be designed to mefall <br />applicable requirements of EIAITIA- 222 -F. The tower will be designed for a wind speed of 92 <br />mph with no ice, 80 mph with 'A inch of ice. The actual tower used will not be determined until <br />we complete a competitive bid process and award final construction bids.
