Council Member <br />adoption: <br />Neal <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION 96 -78 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE CITY CLERK - TREASURER AS THE <br />RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY FOR THE MINNESOTA DATA PRACTICES ACT. <br />WHEREAS, The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minn SS 13.01 -99, regulates the <br />collection, creation, storage, maintenance, dissemination and access to government data in all <br />cities, and <br />WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Administration has promulgated rules to assist in the <br />implementation of state statutes, and <br />WHEREAS, The city council of each city must designate a city employee as the responsible <br />authority who is responsible for the collection, use and dissemination of government data, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Clerk - Treasurer is responsible for all records and data collected for the <br />City of Lino Lakes; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />That the City Clerk be designated the Responsible Authority for the City of Lino Lakes as it <br />relates to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 8th day of July, 1996. <br />Marilyn G. derson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />hn L. Landers, Mayor <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Bergeson, Kuether, Lyden, Neal, Landers. <br />The following voted against same: None . <br />
