18 November 1998
Commissioner Dan Erhart
Chairman, Anoka County Board of Commissioners
Anoka County Administrative Offices
2100 3rd Ave.
Anoka, MN 55303
Re: Reappointment of Mr. Gene Peterson to the
Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers
Dear Commissioner Erhart :
We are in receipt of County Administrator Jay McLinden's letter dated 25 September
1998, which notified us of the upcoming term expiration of Mr. Eugene Peterson.
On behalf of the City of Lino Lakes, I would like to urge the re- appointment of Mr.
Eugene Peterson as one of Anoka County's representatives on the Rice Creek Watershed District
Board of Managers.
Mr. Peterson has served the community and district admirably for six years. Mr.
Peterson resides in the Middle Rice Creek sub - Watershed portion of the District. His residency
therefore, satisfies Minn. Stat. 103D.311 which calls for equitable representation of hydrological
areas within the District.
I, along with the members of the city council appreciate your consideration of this
request.
Respectfully,
Mayor Kim Sullivan
City of Lino Lakes
DT
