AGENDA ITEM NO. m <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br />DATE: November 17, 1998 <br />TOPIC: <br />Consideration of Wenzel Farms Trail Easement <br />DACKGROUND <br />On November 13, 1998 the Wenzel Farms Townhome Association Board <br />approved the trail easement along the western boundary of the <br />development to provide a trail connection from Snow Owl Lane to <br />Ivy Ridge Lane. The Board also signed the additional 8' <br />easement along the southern property line that was approved at <br />the November 26, 1996 Council Meeting. In exchange for this <br />easement the City has agreed to provide the following <br />1. Street sweeping of Ivy Ridge Court and Ivy Ridge Lane, where <br />trail easements exist, two (2) times per year with additional <br />sweeping at the discretion of the Public Services Director. <br />2. Trail signage.indicating "No Motorized Vehicles Allowed" at <br />both trail entrances. <br />3. A split rail fence along the southern property line of Lot 31. <br />4. Construct the bridge. <br />5. Pave remaining trail segments. <br />I anticipate design of the bridge to occur this winter with <br />construction to begin in the spring of 1999. The trail will be <br />addressed and prioritized with the annual trail paving projects. <br />At the November 2, 1998 Park Board Meeting the motion to approve <br />this agreement was approved unanimously. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1.
