The Environmental Board made the following recommendations concerning this proposed development: 1. That water infiltration consideration be given to site planning. Consideration be given to reduced or no slope in the boulevard areas of the street sections. Consideration be given to implementation soil mixing in landscape practices and ti.at specific guidelines be given to the developer on the nature of this mixing. ,..,commendation was made to use native plants approved by the city in re- establishment of wetland and buffer areas. 2. That the developer would consider deed restrictions in his lot sales for wetland buffer -areas subject to Rice Creek Watershed approval. That the developer give consideration to imposing deed restrictions in 10 foot buffer areas around all wetlands. That developer give consideration to sharing these deed restrictions with the city. 3. That the developer give consideration to requiring individual tut builders to follow soil mixing practices in landscape of yards. 4. The city consider passing an ordinance requiring new standards for soil preparation in development projects 5. That the developer prepare a tree preservation plan at the time the grade plan is submitted, to protect the oaks woodlands on the west side of the development.
