OCT-28-1998 11 :27 <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES 612 464 4568 P.01/05 <br />Memorandum <br />To Brian Wessel <br />CC: Mary Kay Wyland <br />Ted Mattkee <br />From: Marty Asleson <br />Date: 09/24/98 <br />Re: West Shadowlake Drive Extension/Rick Carlson Proposal <br />The West Shadowlake Drive extension proposal by Rick Carlson was presented to the <br />gorpem^nral Board on Wednesday the 23 of September. The Environmental Board <br />made the following recommendations concerning this proposed development: <br />1. That water infiltration consideration be given to site planning. Consideration be <br />given to reduced or no slope in the boulevard areas of the street sections. <br />Consideration be given to implementation soil mixing in landscape practices and <br />ti.at specific guidelines be given to the developer on the nature of this mixing. <br />,..,commendation was made to use native plants approved by the city in re- <br />establishment of wetland and buffer areas. <br />2. That the developer would consider deed restrictions in his lot sales for wetland <br />buffer -areas subject to Rice Creek Watershed approval. That the developer give <br />consideration to imposing deed restrictions in 10 foot buffer areas around all <br />wetlands. That developer give consideration to sharing these deed restrictions <br />with the city. <br />3. That the developer give consideration to requiring individual tut builders to <br />follow soil mixing practices in landscape of yards. <br />4. The city consider passing an ordinance requiring new standards for soil <br />preparation in development projects <br />5.
