Council Member Re n*rtintroduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-59 <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAFE & SOBER COMMUNITIES GRANT <br />Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the Lino Lakes Police Department be authorized to enter into a grant <br />agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic <br />Safety, for the project entitled Safe & Sober Communities, during the period of <br />October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. <br />Be It Further Resolved that the Chief of the Coon Rapids Police Department is <br />hereby authorized to execute such agreements and amendments as are <br />necessary to implement the project on behalf of the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department and to be the fiscal agent and administer said grant. <br />Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of August 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />rtell, City • lerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br />Reinert, Gallup, Stoltz, O'Donnell, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
