• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member Donnel moved for adoption of the following resolution: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09-71 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A <br />PUBLIC HEARING — PINE STREET PAVING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to approval of the Council July 13, 2009, a study has been <br />prepared by the City Engineer, with reference to the Pine Street Paving Improvement <br />Project Feasibility Report, received by the City Council September 28, 2009, and <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible, <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota States, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 of the <br />Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Pine Street Paving Improvements Feasibility Report has been accepted and the <br />Engineer is designated as the engineer for this improvement and he is directed to call <br />for a public hearing for the Pine Street Paving Improvements Project. <br />2. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for the portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 and City Charter at an <br />estimated total cost of the improvement of $398,500 for the paving of Pine Street <br />from Lake Drive to 4th Avenue / Jodrell Street. <br />3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of <br />October, 2009 in the Council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. and the clerk <br />shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required <br />by law. <br />Bartell, City Clerk <br />.
