• <br />Council Member Reinerthtroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 09 -116 <br />REQUESTING IMPROVEMENTS TO LAKE DRIVE (CSAH 23) AND MAIN STREET <br />(CSAH 14) INTERSECTION <br />WHEREAS, Lake Drive in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County State Aid <br />Highway 23 (CSAH 23), a route on the National Highway System (NHS) and is <br />designated as an A Minor Arterial; and <br />WHEREAS, Main Street in the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is Anoka County State Aid <br />Highway 14 and is designated as a Principal Arterial; and <br />WHEREAS, the intersection of CSAH 14 and CSAH 23 is currently experiencing <br />growing congestion and safety problems; and <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is the road authority having jurisdiction over the intersection; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the city finds that improvements to the intersection are necessary to <br />improve safety and relieve congestion. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Lino Lakes respectfully requests <br />that the County of Anoka consider the installation of traffic control signals at said <br />intersection and incorporate the making of said improvement into its Capital <br />Improvement Program. <br />u i. ne Bartell, C' <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of December 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Reinert, Gallup, O'Donnell, Roeser, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />2 <br />
