Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 09 -02 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH RCWD TO COST SHARE PREPARATION OF SPECIAL AREA MANAGEMENT PLAN WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes and the Rice Creek Watershed District have collaborated on the preparation of the Lino Lakes Resource Management Plan; and WHEREAS, the Watershed and the City agree that it is mutually beneficial to jointly undertake a project to develop a Special Area Management Plan, for submission to the Saint Paul District Corps of Engineers (Corps) to provide streamlined and consistent Section 404 permit guidance in the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. that the Council hereby agrees to participate financially in the preparation of the Special Area Management Plan (SAMP) in the amount of $10,000 with the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD). 2. that the Council authorizes staff to execute the necessary agreements on behalf of the City. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member srni rz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.
