Balynas, Chief Executive Officer of the Centennial
Youth Hockey Association (CYHA). The application requests that CYHA be
permitted to continue to conduct charitable gambling at Miller's on Main, 8001
Main Street, and Trapper's Bar & Grill at 6810 Lake Drive. The renewal period
for a premises permit is two years, per state guidelines.
The city has conducted a background investigation relative to this application and
found no information on the principal applicants that would give reason to deny
the application.
Minnesota Lawful Gambling law requires that the local unit of government
approve applications for a premise permit before such are submitted to the
Gambling Control Board for final consideration. Therefore, the City Council is
being asked to consider approval of a resolution approving the application
submitted by CHYA.
OPTIONS:
1.
