Council Member -Roese it introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 10 -28 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, 2010 STREET SEALCOAT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of 2010 Street Sealcoat Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Amount of Bid Pearson Bros., Inc. $ 129,970.00 Astech Asphalt Surface $ 137,285.00 Allied Blacktop Company $ 144,650.00 Precision Sealcoating, Inc. Incomplete Engineer's Estimate $ 139,125.00 • AND WHEREAS, it appears that Pearson Bros., Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Pearson Bros., Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2010 Street Sealcoat Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2.
