• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1 E <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />DATE: September 27, 2010 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 10 -83, Approving Peddlers License for <br />Skycom, Inc. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Skycom, Inc., a company located in Excelsior, Minnesota, has submitted a <br />peddler's license application to the city clerk's office. The company <br />representative who would be working in Lino Lakes, Mr. David Rasmussen, <br />plans to travel through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods offering Direct TV and <br />Qwest services on a door to door basis. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a <br />• license. The Lino Lakes Police Department has performed a background check <br />and indicated there would be no reason to recommend denial of the license. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's <br />office for review. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 10 -83 approving the issuance of a Peddler <br />License for a six month period commencing September 28, 2010. <br />2. Deny Resolution No. 10 -83. <br />• <br />
