• <br />• <br />Council MembeiO ' Donneltroduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08-34 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING, WARE ROAD / BIRCH STREET INTERSECTION <br />PETITION FOR STOPLIGHT OR STOP SIGN PLACEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has received a petition from residents and property <br />owners in the Ware Road / Birch Street area, requesting that the City install a Stoplight or <br />Stop Sign at the intersection, and <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County is proposing to prepare an Access Management Study on <br />Birch Street (CSAH 34) in 2008, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Lino Lakes City Council to include an evaluation of <br />the Ware Road / Birch Street intersection in the Access Management Study, which will <br />entail a definition of the problem, analysis of collected information and looking for <br />solutions, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />Accepts the Petition for the Ware Road / Birch Street Intersection Petition for <br />Stoplight or Stop Sign Placement, dated February 11, 2008 and directs staff to <br />work jointly with Anoka County on the Access Management Study including <br />incorporating of this intersection. <br />_ . e Bartell, C ty <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th Day of March, 2008. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Reinert and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: O'Donnell, Reinert, Gallup, Bergeson <br />The following voted against same: None (Absent - Stoltz) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
