Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08 -121 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 14 <br />LAKE DRIVE /I35W IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the resolution of the City Council adopted May 14, 2007, the City <br />awarded the construction contract for the Lake Drive /I -35W Improvement Project to Lunda <br />Construction Company, and <br />WHEREAS, drainage improvements for the project included pipe jacking of a storm sewer line <br />underneath I -35W, and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the use of a 42" casing would not leave an adequate <br />separation with the 35W roadway section and it was therefore necessary for the contractor to <br />use a smaller casing and different pipe materials, and <br />WHEREAS, this change required the contractor to reset their pipe jacking equipment so that <br />the proper grades could be established. As a result the contractor has identified costs <br />associated with the initial installation of the 42" casing. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1.
