• <br />C. DESIGN PHASE SERVICES <br />1. In consultation with the OWNER and on the basis of the previously prepared <br />concept drawings for the intersection, confirm the general scope, extent and <br />character of the Project. <br />2. Prepare topographic field survey as appropriate for preliminary design purposes. <br />3. Prepare preliminary design documents consisting of final design criteria, <br />preliminary drawings, outline specifications, opinion of probable construction <br />costs, and findings and recommendations; and review with the OWNER. <br />4. Coordinate with utility companies in the project areas to determine conflicts, <br />coordinate relocations and adjustments of public and private utilities, account for <br />utilities in the project plans. <br />5. Complete drainage design for project areas as necessary, including coordinating <br />with approval agencies, as needed. <br />6. Prepare for incorporation in the Contract Documents final drawings and <br />specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the <br />Project. 60% and 95% plans shall be prepare for review by OWNER with <br />appropriate comments incorporated. <br />7. Identify for the OWNER, his legal counsel and other advisors the necessary <br />Easements and Right -of -Way to construct the Project, based upon Property, <br />Easement and Right -of -Way Surveys provided by the OWNER. Provide OWNER <br />acquisition exhibits. <br />8. Assist the OWNER in connection with the OWNER'S responsibility for filing <br />documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having <br />jurisdiction over the Project. <br />9. Advise the OWNER of any adjustments to the latest opinion of probable <br />construction cost caused by changes in extent or design requirements of the <br />Project and furnish a revised opinion of probable construction cost based on the <br />drawings and specifications. <br />10. Submit two copies of the above documents and of the drawings and specifications <br />to the OWNER. Make minor revisions and adjustments following the OWNER'S <br />review. <br />D. BIDDING PHASE SERVICES <br />1. Reproduce final Bidding Documents and related contract forms for bidding and <br />construction purposes.
