Council Member Gallup introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -20 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING <br />FARMLAND LEASE AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes owns property located at the southeast corner of <br />Centerville Road and Birch Street that is suitable for farming; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes prepared and advertised a lease agreement to farm <br />the land mentioned above; and <br />WHEREAS, This lease agreement is for an initial term of three years and can be extended <br />by mutual consent of both parties; and <br />WHEREAS, Bids were received and publicly opened on February 3, 2011 at 10:OOam. in <br />the City Council Chambers as follows: <br />Jim Cardinal <br />Gordon Rehbein Farms <br />$1,900 per year <br />$1,800 per year <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby <br />awards the Farmland Lease Agreement to Mr. Jim Cardinal and directs the City Clerk to <br />prepare the Farmland Lease Agreement for execution. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th da •- - - . it , 20 <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City Cler <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member O'Donnell and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Gallup, O'Donnell, <br />Rafferty, Roeser, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: none <br />Jeff Reinert <br />or <br />
