• <br />P. 3o6 <br />Council MemberRafferty introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -47 <br />AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR A BENEFIT AT <br />AMERICAN LEGION POST 566 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Jeff Johnson representing St. Mark's Lutheran Church and the Lino <br />Lakes Lions Club, has submitted an application for a special event permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the event is planned for May 7, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at <br />American Legion Post 566 located at 7731 Lake Drive and includes a spaghetti <br />dinner, silent auction and karaoke; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted a plan to provide for adequate parking and <br />parking supervision for the event; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department has approved the application and event plans <br />with certain recommendations; and <br />• WHEREAS, proof of general liability insurance has been verified by the manager of <br />the American Legion; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit to Jeff Johnson, <br />for a special event on May 7, 2011, at American Legion Post 566. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 25th day of April, <br />2011. <br />ST: <br />C.t <br />Juli: nne Bartell, y CIe <br />Jeff "e'n -rt, Mayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council MemberGallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Rafferty, Gallup, Roeser, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />• The following voted against same: <br />none <br />
