• Council MemberRt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -81 <br />AWARDING CLEANING CONTRACT TO JANI -KING OF MINNESOTA, INC. <br />WHEREAS, the Public Services Department currently employs a full -time Building Custodian to <br />clean the Civic Complex. In addition, part-time staff is used to provide cleaning duties at the <br />Public Works facility and provide assistance as needed at the Civic Complex; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the overall organizational assessment process, staff explored the costs of <br />contracting out cleaning services; and <br />WHEREAS, cleaning service companies were contacted to submit cleaning proposals for the <br />Civic Complex (City Hall and Police Departments) and the Public Works facility; and <br />WHEREAS, after careful examination, staff has concluded that Jani -King provides the best <br />proposal for cleaning services at the Civic Complex and the Public Works facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the term of the initial Maintenance Agreement is for one (1) year from the date <br />services are scheduled to commence.
