• <br />Council Member Raffertitroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 11 -100 <br />AUTHORIZING A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR A SPECIAL <br />EVENT AT THE LINO LAKES YMCA ON NOVEMBER 17, 2011 <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Chain of Lakes YMCA has submitted an <br />application for a 1 to 4 day temporary liquor license in conjunction with an event <br />planned at the YMCA facility on November 17, 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, the event planned is a fundraiser that includes a wine tasting; and <br />WHEREAS, the serving of alcoholic beverages will be done to ensure that no <br />underage alcohol service will occur; and <br />WHEREAS, proof of liquor liability insurance has been submitted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division requires that this type of <br />• temporary liquor application be approved by the City of Lino Lakes City Council <br />before submission to the Liquor Control Board <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council grants local approval for a 1 -4 day temporary liquor license to <br />the Lino Lakes YMCA for a special event on November 17, 2011. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino L <br />2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />ne Bartell, CI y Cle <br />10t <br />ctober, <br />Jeff R- - ayor <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Roeser, O'Donnell, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none Absent - G 11 ) <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
