The event planned is a <br />wine tasting that will be sponsored by Lino Lakes business, Lake Liquor. Since wine <br />will be served it is necessary for the YMCA to obtain a Temporary 1 -4 Day Intoxicating <br />Liquor License Permit. Staff has determined that the Lino Lakes YMCA is eligible for <br />temporary license under city and state regulations. <br />City policy requires a background investigation each time a permit or license application <br />is received; the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted an investigation of the <br />applicant, Chain of Lakes YMCA Executive Director Sharna Braucks, and found no <br />reason to deny the license request. <br />A copy of the applications and a copy of the certificate of liquor liability insurance are on <br />file in the city clerk's office. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 11 -100, approving a 1 to 4 day temporary on -sale liquor <br />license. <br />2. Deny Resolution No. 11 -100. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option 1. <br />
