• <br />• <br />• <br />STAFF ORIGNINATOR: <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />AGENDA ITEM 1C <br />Jean Viger, Deputy Clerk <br />February 14, 2005 <br />Consider Resolution No. 05 -09, Approving <br />Renewal of Premises Permit for Centennial <br />Youth Hockey Association to Conduct Lawful <br />Gambling at Trapper's Bar & Grill. <br />Simple Majority (3/5 Vote) <br />City staff has received an application from the Centennial Youth Hockey Association for <br />approval of their premises permit to conduct lawful gambling at Trapper's Bar & Grill, <br />6810 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Minnesota. The expiration date of the premises permit <br />corresponds with the expiration date of the organization's lawful gambling license, as per <br />state guidelines. The premises permit will be in effect from April 1, 2005 through March <br />31, 2007. <br />The police department conducted a background check and found no information to deny <br />issuing the permit. <br />A copy of the application and the results of the background investigation are on file in the <br />city clerk's office. <br />Resolution 05 -09 approves the application for the premises permit renewal. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt the motion to approve Resolution No. 05 -09 <br />2. Deny Resolution No. 05 -09 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option 1 <br />
