Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 24, 2005 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 05 -166, Approving Change Order No. 2 and Payment No. <br />6 (Final), West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The contractor for the West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements project, <br />Richard Knutson, Inc. is requesting City approval of Payment No. 6 (Final) in the <br />amount of $20,400.00. A copy of the final payment is attached. The contractor has <br />satisfactorily completed all work and has provided all necessary documentation. <br />The current contract amount was $338,751.00 and the final contract amount is <br />$346,114.84. Change Order No. 2 is a compensating change order which balances out <br />the contract. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Approve Resolution 05 -166 Approving Change Order No. 2 and Payment No. 6 <br />(Final) for the West Shadow Ponds Utility and Street Improvements. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution 05 -166 be approved. <br />
