• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 — 195 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND THE PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS — LOIS LANE UTILITY EXTENSION <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 25th day of July, 2005, fixed a <br />date for a council hearing on the proposed improvement of Lois Lane from 270 feet <br />west of Country Lane to 320 feet west of Meadow View Trail by extending utilities and <br />replacing the bituminous surface, <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the <br />hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 22nd day of August, 2005, <br />at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon, <br />AND WHEREAS, it is proposed to finance the project with special assessments and to <br />have the deferred future lot assessments be paid with the Trunk Area and Unit Fund <br />until those Tots are created, <br />AND WHEREAS, it is proposed to advertise for bids to construct the proposed <br />improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution <br />adopted the 12th day of December, 2005, pursuant to a petition of affected <br />property owners. <br />3. The City Engineer, James E. Studenski, is hereby designated as the engineer for <br />this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the <br />making of such improvement. <br />4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the <br />improvements from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of December, 2005. <br />Attest: <br />e Bartell ity Jerk <br />Jo J.
