St. Paul Regional Water Services, page 3 <br />Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -198 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO <br />THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />(St. Paul Regional Water Services) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has adopted a Comprehensive Plan to guide community growth in <br />a rational and responsible manner through 2020, and <br />WHEREAS, MN Statutes 462.355 authorizes the governing body to amend the comprehensive <br />municipal plan, and <br />WHEREAS, an amendment to the plan is required to allow the proposed sale of certain private lake <br />shore properties to adjacent land owners for combination with existing parcels, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on November <br />11, 2006 and recommended approval of the Comprehensive Plan amendment, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Lino Lakes hereby approves the <br />� <br />ollowing amendments to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan as shown on the attached Exhibit A and <br />ascribed as follows: <br />1. Change the Land Use designation of 4 properties, adjacent to Peltier Lake and Centerville <br />Lake from Public / Semi — Public to Low Density Sewered Residential. These parcels are <br />identified in Exhibit A as Parcels 2, 3, 4, and 15. <br />2. Change the Land Use designation of a portion of 1 property, adjacent to Centerville Lake from <br />Public / Semi — Public to Low Density Sewered Residential.
