R E S O L U T I O N <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has executed a Certificate of <br />Indebtedness to the First State Bank of Huge, Hugo, <br />Minnesota in the amount of $63,000.00, dated February <br />12, 1980, and <br />WHEREAS, said Certificate of Indebtedness was issued to purchase <br />a maintenance truck, with snow plow, wing and sander <br />and police car, pursuant to Minnesota Statute <br />Annotated 412.301, and <br />WHEREAS, due to favorable purchases of said equipment, there <br />is a surplus of $5,451.70 of said $63,000.00, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a used front <br />end loader and snow blower attachment from the <br />State of Minnesota, as and for maintenance equip - <br />ment, for the City, at a cost of $6,500.00, and <br />WHEREAS said price for used said front end loader and snow <br />blower attachment is deemed very reasonable, <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the City Council of the City <br />of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, that the City Council <br />shall finance the purchase of said front end loader and snow <br />blower attachment in part, by the use of the sum of $5,451.70 <br />which money shall be withdrawn from the said Certificate of <br />Indebtedness monies as said front end loader and snow blower <br />attachment is to be used as maintenance equipment and the <br />purchase of said equipment falls within the purview of <br />Minnesota Statutes Annonated 412.301, and said sum shall be <br />used to apply toward the purchase of said used front end <br />loader and snow blower attachment by the :City as though <br />such purchase had been initially considered in said Certificate <br />of Indebtedness. <br />Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th <br />Day of February, 1981. <br />Edna L.
