• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING <br />FOR IMPROVEMENTS IN THE LEXINGTON PARK - LAKEVIEW AREA. <br />WHEREAS, Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of <br />1974, as amended, provides for a program of Community <br />Development Block Grants; and, <br />WHEREAS, Part 570, Chapter V of Title 24 of the Code of Federal <br />Regulations, sets forth regulations governing the <br />applicability and use of funds under Title I; and, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes feels that they can demonstrate a <br />need for such funding, to provide general improvements in <br />the Lexington Park- Lakeview area; and <br />WHEREAS, these improvements shall demonstrate that all criteria <br />set out by the above Referenced regulations shall be met <br />or exceeded; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br />The Lino Lakes City Council requests assistance for the Lexington <br />Park - Lakeview area through funding of a Community Development <br />Block Grant, and <br />That these funds shall be used as required by the Housing and <br />Community Development Act of 1974. <br />Passed by the City Council this 9th day of February, 1981. <br />F.
