MEMO
TO: Mayor and Council
From: R. Schumacher
DATE: December 19, 1980
RE: Estension of Sewer Interceptor
The Lino Lakes Comprehensive Plan shows that sewer service
district Number two will be hooked up to the existing
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission Interceptor presently
located in Circle Pines.
It is the responsibility of the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission to make and pay for that extension.
Therefore, I would recommend that the Council adopt the
following Resolution so that Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission may include this extension in their funding
plans.
Resolution to Metro Council Requesting Sewer Interceptor
Extension.
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes projects the need for
connecting up to the existing MWCC Interceptor located
in Circle Pines, and
WHEREAS, the MWCC has reserved capacity in this interceptor
for the future use of Lino Lakes.
NOW THEREFORE._BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes
requests the Metropolitan Council to consider ammending the
Water Quality Policy Plan to include service to Lino Lakes
border by the extension of the Circle Pines /Blaine interceptor.
